Melissa is our Trade Commissioner and Consul-General for
Vancouver, and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
Melissa has over 15 years experience working with New Zealand's
business community in both the private and public sectors. During
her career with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), she has
worked across a number of roles including establishing and managing
an early stage business funding program, project management of
export promotion, and free trade agreement initiatives.
Before taking on her current role at NZTE, she worked in
operations and account management with major New Zealand
businesses.
Prior to joining NZTE, Melissa worked in the banking sector with
roles in business banking at ANZ, and analyst positions with Credit
Suisse First Boston and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in
London.
Melissa holds a Commerce degree (First Class Honors) and a
Bachelor of Arts degree, both from Otago University.
