Silica

Southern New Zealand has considerable volumes of concentrated deposits of high grade silica in the form of quartz gravel and sand. New Zealand is currently looking for international companies and joint venture partners to invest in the conversion of these deposits into high grade polysilicon and other high value products in a way that will maximize value for New Zealand.

Steel

Iron sand resources found along the western coast of New Zealand's North Island provide investors an opportunity to process the resources for conversion into iron, steel and related products.

Wood products

New Zealand has a vibrant forestry and wood processing sector that provides significant investment opportunities in value added wood products. Well managed forests and trained and experienced forestry and manufacturing staff make New Zealand an attractive location for investments.
